It's a sickness, I think. :-)eafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08547811538309083481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11740192.post-1141699633097756522006-03-06T20:47:00.000-06:002006-03-06T20:47:00.000-06:00It's beautiful. She had a beautiful angel someone had given her and she couldn't do the bead work either. She just got frustrated with it.

So, she met a woman who loves crosstitch but hates needlework. So, my sister loves needlework and offered to finish the woman's project for her; and the woman offered to finish my sister's crossstitch.

It all worked out and the angel is framed at the bottom of my sister's stairs.A Girl From Texashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02852542698140658490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11740192.post-1141696835350059482006-03-06T20:00:00.000-06:002006-03-06T20:00:00.000-06:00Mirabilia's May Emerald Fairy. I love beading, but I can't do it for too long each sitting. And I can't do it when the toddler is in the room. Otherwise, I know there would be millions of little beads everywhere...eafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08547811538309083481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11740192.post-1141621536014251602006-03-05T23:05:00.000-06:002006-03-05T23:05:00.000-06:00Eaf, What is your crosstich project? On each square I sewed an applique of either a little girl or little boy. Between each square, on all four sides is a sash that is about 2 inches wide and the entire length of the square. This is the top piece.

The second piece is the batting or filling. It sits under the top piece.

The third piece is the back piece which is actually about 4 pieces of fabric sewn together to match the width of top piece. It rests under the top piece and the batting.

So, I'm sewing 3 pieces together like a sandwich.A Girl From Texashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02852542698140658490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11740192.post-1141572563365888672006-03-05T09:29:00.000-06:002006-03-05T09:29:00.000-06:00How many pieces have you put in place? How many pieces have you put in place?Freebirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06964944512089608136noreply@blogger.com
