I get an e-mail this morning from the seller's lender. They still do not have the document they need.
Now, I'm in panic mode. The Title Company is closed. So, I look up the owner of the title company in the tax records. I drive over to her and show her the e-mail. We drive back to the title office together and fax over the requested document.
They get it and they still think it's wrong. It turns out that they didn't identify the buyer's signature as really being his signature....it's just sort of a scribble. So we had to fax over a passport and some other document to verify the signature was indeed correct.
It's over. Dracula is finally dead.

I'm worn out from reading all of this so I can only imagine how you feel!
