I've noticed and so has John. He blogged about it today. Sounds like there's always an evacuee linked to these stories too.
I saw on the news today that they are going to start holding apartment communities accountable if they don't take measures to beef up their security.
At first I thought it was passing the buck but then I thought they were right when they said they were using HPD as their security
I sure hope so. I know my apt complex has had lots of incidents in the last couple of months.
I'm fully aware that this is a VERY rude thing to say (or write), but they can all go home now.
I know there are a lot of good people out of N.O., but there's lots of criminal element too and they are the ones who are making the news.
