Goodbye Sydney Bristow

Well, tonight was the final episode of Alias. I remember when I saw the first episode way back when. I think it was the first episode. Her hair was pink. I'm not sure if that was the first one or not but it was my first one. I think I had my T.V. for just a month or so.

I'm really sort of depressed and sad that it's over. I loved the characters: her father, Sloan, her mother, Marshall, Dixon, Vaughn, Sark .... all of them. Yes, even the evil ones. That's what I liked about the series; the same people stayed part of it throughout the years to the very end.

I just cannot believe it's over. I'll miss it.

I've never watched it, but I thought that was a great show. Why did they cancel it?

I TiVo'd it - I'll probably watch it today (I was at the hockey game last night).

The first season or two was great, it went through a lull, then started getting really good again.

Freebird: They had done as much with the characters as they possibly could. It was just time to end it.

I woke up really sad this morning. I had spent the last 2 years scheduling myself around it.

I really grew attached to the characters.

A great way to end the show though. Jack Bristow is awesome.

I just watched my recording. Jack is going to make me cry. "You beat death, Arvin, but you didn't beat me."

You rule, Jack.

What a way to end it. Sloane's situation was very fitting and very horrible. Ugghh.. Four kids for Marshall and baby Jack for Syd? Nice.

They left it open to be able to pick up again with Isabell.....

Sloan grew on me.

I have never seen an episode. I have to wait for it to start in reruns from scratch, otherwise it would be too confusing I think.

Yes, Alex, you're right. You do need to see it from the beginning to appreciate the characters and the irony in some of the plots.
